transition management is a
critical proof point

Any physical move event is highly visible to all stakeholders, and when successfully delivered is a seamless, positive experience that can add real value at the tail end of the project. Our services are designed to deliver exactly this, and include:

relocation master planning

Understanding your requirements or constraints, we align space planning with the organisation’s strategic drivers, establish a relocation strategy, maximise space utilisation or ratios, and simplify move sequencing.

manage storage fit

We can assist in streamlining storage, organising culling and reduction events, and educating staff around fundamental ways of managing storage. We can also provide recommendations on storage solutions, including specifications for storage systems, and assist your interior designer | architect to develop the storage specification for your new premises or fit-out.

relocation planning & coordination

We can identify and manage external suppliers, manage the relocation database, manage and support move champions, mitigate relocation risk, prepare staff communications, develop a detailed move schedule, as well as assess and coordinate access throughout the move period.

indigenous inclusion

We have long term, trusted relationships with indigenous owned enterprises in the relocation space and can facilitate procurement to ensure the indigenous inclusion goals of your project are met.

Transition circular asset

circular asset management

Puzzle is passionately committed to seeing a reduction in the amount of office furniture and fittings going to landfill. We help organisations to re-home, re-purpose, and recycle wherever possible. A detailed space audit generates a comprehensive report including room layout details and photographic evidence to ensure that where re-used, the rooms are re-set correctly during the recant.

For items no longer required, our network of partners can assist to re-home, re-furbish or recycle items.

supplier engagement & oversight

Puzzle can manage the relocation supplier engagement process by preparing a detailed scope of works, managing the tender process, and make recommendations regarding appointment. We will then engage, manage and coordinate the appointed provider(s) and ensure compliance with WHS requirements, as well as provide onsite support for staff post-move to resolve any teething issues.

the perfect opportunity to
rationalise storage with paperlite

Going Paperlite can be a real challenge. Paperlite by Puzzle helps clients to reduce clutter and gain better and faster access to information from anywhere. Typical triggers for a Paperlite program might include: moving | churning | refurbishing | growing | downsizing | restructuring | merging | culture change program | compliance and security imperatives.

paperlite

Where are we headed?
Before a Paperlite program begins, a storage target can be determined based on future floor space or a lineal metre capacity per person. Alternatively, targets can be based on storage benchmarks.

How can the business be challenged further?
We overlay the storage data and team interviews with Puzzle’s benchmark insights to challenge the business further. This can mean making recommendations on improved archiving, electronic document management, digitising hardcopy and alternative storage solutions.

How will we empower team representatives to take on the challenge?
We will host a workshop for those tasked with leading their team’s storage reduction. They will examine their current storage practices and work with subject matter experts and super users in their business (ICT, records management etc.) to devise the best approach to achieving their targets.

What will support each team to make efforts to reduce their storage?
The approaches developed in the workshop will outline team-specific activities for the taskforce leaders to implement, including clean-up sessions, ICT training, archival support, Paperlite comms material, organisational competitions, and an online resource.

Maintain the storage reductions and new digital habit
Puzzle continues to engage with taskforce members with regular check in meetings, surveys and ‘health check’ re-audits to ensure beneficial habits embedded. We can also strategically map storage based on team stacking and offer relocation management.
